Parallel analysis

Post by Sadegh » Tue Oct 22, 2024 8:27 am

Hello,

Could you please help me with how I can do parallel analysis in STKO? If an example you have for reference it can greatly work.

Thank you,

I receive this error when trying to do a parallel:

WARNING No Numberer type exists (Plain, RCM only)
while executing
"numberer ParallelRCM"
(file "analysis_steps.tcl" line 903)
invoked from within
"source analysis_steps.tcl"
(file ".\main.tcl" line 81)

As I found out about it, I had to change the solver to openseesmp and change the analysis settings but now I am receiving this error:

"C:\OpenSees-Solvers\openseesmp.bat" ".\main.tcl" 0 & pause
"RUNNING AS PARALLEL"
[mpiexec@DESKTOP-VNB7L9P] HYD_pmcd_pmi_alloc_pg_scratch (./pm/pmiserv/pmiserv_utils.c:595): assert (pg->pg_process_count * sizeof(struct HYD_pmcd_pmi_ecount)) failed
[mpiexec@DESKTOP-VNB7L9P] HYD_pmci_launch_procs (./pm/pmiserv/pmiserv_pmci.c:103): error allocating pg scratch space
[mpiexec@DESKTOP-VNB7L9P] main (./ui/mpich/mpiexec.c:401): process manager returned error launching processes
Press any key to continue . . .

Hi, are you sure that you partitioned the model in addition to choosing openseemp solver, changing analysis settings with parallel solvers (like Mumps), and parallel numberers?
