Thank you, would it be possible if you could refer us any sample file? Also for a 3d wall cyclic test, do you think Load Control Integrator is okay?
Thanks for your help,

cyclic test of masonry
Hi,
I’m running an analysis on a 3d masonry wall under cyclic loading. My issue is that, even after adjusting solver tolerances, switching solver methods, time steps and trying other analysis settings, the analysis fails to complete all the loading cycles. In the attached figure, the dashed line ...

Re: Beam/ column connection to wall
The beams and columns are modeled with beam coulm element in opensees, and the wall is modeled as a shell with asdshellq4... the connection is also is assumed to be perfect with no friction...

Merging
Hello,
I have a problem with the merging. When I try to merge the walls and and the beams and columns, the software automatically delete some of the elements.
If I do not merge this what happens for the meshing? at what nodes do the program calculate. As can be seen in the picture, in the meshing ...

Different colors in the surface
Hello,
I am modeling a surface in stko, but I am noticing for the faces that has the same properties in one plane the color is different I mean some are more grey... like the attached picture.
Thanks,
