Can someone help me analyse a simple plate structure with point load on top and normal boundary conditions. I need this urgently, I have tried to take the shear wall video as a reference but I am unable to do it. Can someone help me urgently. I am new to this software and having a hard time learning this. Please help me. I need it done in 10 hours. your help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Please help me. I need it done in 10 hours.
This is a forum for technical and specific issues..., we answer as we can, without a deadline
And you need to me more specific with your doubts:
simple plate structure with point load on top
What does it mean "on top" on a plate? do you mean a point load in the middle? If you call it plate, I understand you are interested in the plate-bending behavior
normal boundary conditions
What do you mean by "normal"? pinned? fixed? other?

I am sorry for my wording in my post, I will try to be more specific. I made a model of a plate structure where all the edges, vetices are fixed and there was a point load of 200kn from top at the middle point. I have attached the link to the file below. When running the analysis I was getting a error which I was unable to resolve.

Sorry but there are too many mistakes in your model.
You mentioned it was a plate, but your CAE model has solids, shells lines and vertices all disconnected.
You assigned a shell element to a solid geometry.
The you used a plate fiber wrapper without any nDMaterial in it and without a thickness.
I would suggest you have a deep look at our webinars about shells (for example those about shear walls)

Ok I will take a look at the shear wall example.
Thanks for your help.

I tried modelling the shear wall as shown in the video. I followed the exact same steps and I got this error (attached file). How do I resolve this? Additionaly I had to also change the divisions by size as max number of nodes was reached.
Do I need to download a different solver?
Thank you.

I managed to resolve this error. I changed the Gc value from 3 to 10.

Yes It has been discussed on another topic as well
