RE: Remove command

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Opensees/STKO and have a question about the "remove" command under the analysis options.

I'm currently modeling a monopile in sand. After completing the gravity analysis, I want to replace the soil body in the pile zone with a beam element (representing the pile). Should I only remove the soil elements in the pile zone using the "remove element xxx" command, or do I also need to remove the corresponding nodes?
