Extraction of Reaction Force

Post by Zeeshanbhat » Fri Mar 05, 2021 1:43 pm

Dear Team,

How can I extract the reaction force from the base of the given prism subjected to vertical displacement? There is option of node selection, but it is hard to select so many nodes one by one and If I somehow select the nodes, will it sum all reaction forces of nodes?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Regards,

You don't have to select them one by one, You can use the rubber band selection (look at the manual).
Left-click and hold, move the mouse (you will see a rectangle). Release when all your nodes are inside the rectangle.

The operation can be decided at the end of the extraction. In your case you need "Sum".
