SPSW modeling using oppensees

Post by AhmedMaky » Wed Nov 25, 2020 6:41 am

I am trying to study a specific model assumption
However , the results are hugely different in values
and curve pattern.
Maybe there something in nonlinear components or
in the load pattern . I am not sure .

I am attaching the wrong and right curve due to the reference

It seems you have problem of convergence and your model is softer. Check convergence and the stiffness of the model, without additional details we can't help you more. Could you send us the stko file?
Thank you
