High Acceleration Values When Using ENT Material

Post by vokumus » Fri Jun 05, 2020 9:07 am

Hi;

I have an SSI model in which I used ZL elements with ENT material between mat foundation and soil. I got some high acceleration values (concentrated in foundation and/or soil mat). When I use rigid materials in ZL elements there is no problem.

I tried to solve it for a couple days with no luck. My model is attached. Thanks.

Update 1: I have changed integrator to TRBDF2 (saw it in user miran's post here) and it seems the problem is solved for now. But I have to test it on some other models.
