Results in terms of load vs drift ratio

Post by Asad005 » Thu Mar 05, 2020 10:58 am

Can I get the beam-tip load vs drift ratio chart directly for the applied load (or displacement) on beam-column assembly in post processor? I have applied the load as load control on the end of the beam with a varying time series (0.08 to -3.2). I tried but the available output is only displacement or rotation or moment vs time or other results.

Should I need to apply the load or displacement in a different manner to get the chart for Beam-tip load VS drift ratio or I have to do it manually by dividing the resultant displacements by beam length multiplied by 100 (drift ratio = (applied displacement x 100)/beam length) after exporting the chart to excel?
Thanks

With the current version of STKO you should do it manually after exporting charts to excel. But in a future version we are planning to implement manipulation of results and chart data directly inside STKO.
