Inquiry Regarding Analysis Errors in STKO

Post by Seon-Hoon, Kim » Sat Aug 16, 2025 5:08 pm

My name is Seon-Hoon Kim, and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Korea.

I have been actively utilizing STKO to conduct various numerical analyses, primarily focusing on beam-column connections. However, I have continuously encountered errors during the analyses. Accordingly, I am sharing the TCL and SCD files for your review. I kindly request your assistance in identifying the cause of these errors and providing a possible solution.

I would also appreciate it if you could share your response to the following email address once the review has been completed: [kshcj8492@gmail.com].

Thank you very much for your support.

Sincerely,
Seon-Hoon Kim

First I would not use Lagrange Multipliers as constraint handler.
Second, your model is failing in the second (Axial) analysis, which is a LoadControl analysis. Are you sure your model can sustain the imposed load?
