Hello!
I want to simulate a timber beam simply-supported with a square section.
So I use an elastic orthotropic material, but I can't use a fiber section(because it doesn't read the material type).
I select a SPPbrick as element properties..
Someone can give me suggestions? Both for physical ...

Re: Analysis error: cannot find option attribute
Okay that's fine.
Now another error is shown...it's a problem of convergence..
Is there a lineguide to use resolution algorithms? It' a basic plastic analysis of a simple supported IPE200, subjected to an uniform distributed load..
Is it correct to select for this type of non-linearity a fiber ...

Analysis error: cannot find option attribute
Hello.
I'm trying to do a simple plastic (fiber) analysis of a simple supported steel beam (IPE200), subjected to a uniform load.
But after the analysis, I select a NewtonWithLineSearch and toll=1e-07, there is this warning: cannot find option attribute..someone can help me please?
Thank you in ...

How can I select for a simply supported beam the constraints in the conditions part? thank you.
