Dear all,
I'm creating the model attached. On each floor, I want to add 4 EqualDOF + ZeroLength elements. The floors are artificially separated to allow for the insertion of the EqualDOF + ZeroLength elements. However, when I click on "write input file", the following lines are included multiple times:

model basic -ndm 3 -ndf 6
source definitions.tcl

This is something that should only appear in the main.tcl file, and I don’t understand why it's being generated multiple times. Maybe it's related to the "Merge" command?
I'd really appreciate any comments or suggestions on this.

It's because your trusses are intersecting at the center of the cross. In that node the truss intersect another truss, and wants 3 DOFs.
But at the same time it shares the other end-node with a beam, and there it wants 6 DOFs. Since a truss cannot have different DOFs at the 2 end-nodes, STKO creates auxiliary nodes and links them with EDOF.

Anyways, having the central node at the intersection of the 2 braces makes the model singular. Instead of Merge command, you should have used the MakeWire, that does not create intersection points (only merges coinciding nodes).
