Dear STKO Forum,
I have run a linear analysis of a steel lattice girder but I have some problems with the visualization of the stresses in the beam elements. I assigned them with an elastic section and a Lobatto integration scheme. The elements are force-beam elements.
I tried to record almost all of the possible things I can record as you can see in the picture but I still have not managed to see the stresses. The only thing I can see are stresses where I connected the beam elements with the solid piers. I can also not see any results if I want to make a beam/fiber plot. Can this be the issue or is it maybe a problem with the forcebeam element that I need to use an other elment.
All help is welcome .
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,
Mats

Re: Can't visualize stresses in beam elements
Hi, you can't see the stresses on elastic section. Please use "fiber" section, which can have Gauss points at each fiber location and display the stress and strain.
