MPCO recorder and parallel analysis results
Posted: Thu May 02, 2024 8:06 am
Goodmorning to all,
I did a parallel calculation of a simple structure by imposing on my own how my mesh had to be partitioned.
The fact is that I obtained a part of the result, so my mesh is divided in every mpco part file (as result-pid_1, result-pid_2 etc..), and I can't view a global structure but a part of it for every file. I can't turn on every file also.
In every file is showed the part of structure addicted to that processor but the mpco files are not connected each other, so it is not enough to load one file to automatically load every mpco file. I have to load one file by one.
How can I obtain a global mpco file to show the entire result by collecting the single parts ?
This is done automatically by OpenSeesSP that does the same also with the proper recorder function.
I had seen what was written in:
viewtopic.php?f=27&t=2467&p=6711&hilit= ... mpco#p6711
but I have a HDF5 "cannot create or open file: " namefile.mpco "
I just had open the writing and reading permissions but the error standing.
The problem is the "output" setting in the url tcl code.
I annex the file tcl I executed with 4 parallel processors and OpenSeesMP.
Thank you
