Grouting sleeve model problem

Post by haishui » Thu Dec 05, 2024 7:45 am

Hi, everyone.
I'm trying to use STKO to simulate a pull-out test of a grouting sleeve, and I had built a simple model, but ran into some issues.

1. The following issue occurs when running,I don't actually know why this happen.

2.The model is mainly composed of a sleeve, grout and steel bars, of which the steel bars use fiber element, the grouting material uses solid element and the sleeve uses shell element, Is this setting reasonable?
3.How should I consider the bonding performance between the sleeve and the grouting material?
Looking forward to your reply!

The element property requires an hexa mesh with 8 nodes, but you assigned this property to a mesh made with 27 nodes.
Just assign a mesh control to the solids set to Quad/Hexa - Structured - Linear
