DamageTC1D in Linux
DamageTC1D in Linux
Dear SKTO Team:
Many thanks for your help with this.
When using DamageTC1D material, the material runs properly in OPenSees-Solvers. However, it doesn't work normally in the Linux version. The Linux version is compiled using github-opensees, is there a solution method?
For shear wall fiber damage, when Layershell is used, the NDmaterials ASDConcrete, and DamageTC1D can be used. However, for pile fiber section, concrete only DamageTC1D can show fiber damage with shear force and bending moment.
Thanks for your help.
Yours sincerely
ambcha

Re: DamageTC1D in Linux
Unfortunately, the DamageTC3D and DamageTC1D are available as plugins but only on Windows and they are not in the official OpenSees repo.
That's why we started integrating them into their new versions ASDConcrete3D and ASDConcrete1D. However, the ASDConcrete1D is not available yet. We will add it shortly. In the meatine you should go with another 1D concrete material

Dear STKO team
Thank you very much for your help. Developing such a perfect software as STKO.
DamageTC1D material is not available on linux systems.
If studying circular pile foundation fiber sections, fiber section damage, can you recommend an alternative material besides DamageTC1D material?
Looking forward to ASDConcrete1D materials!
Best wishes
Ambcha

Re: DamageTC1D in Linux
You can use any other Concrete uniaxial material but none of them has the damage output

Thanks for the suggestion and looking forward to the ASDConcrete1D material!

Re: DamageTC1D in Linux
I had a similar issue with DamageTC1D on Linux a while back. ended up using a different 1D concrete material as a workaround. Developer jobs are getting harder and harder!
