ETABS geometry import

Hi

I am trying to import basic geometry from my existing ETABS model and tried *.step & *.igs but have not been successful. STKO just crashes or default saying import command aborted.

Is there a way to convert ETABS model directly into STKO ? or alternatively, I have equivalent TCL files that I want to transfer into STKO data format but realize that TCL will not be recognized in STKO.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, As of now STKO doesn't specifically provide an option to import ETABS file. If the step or iges files are clean and compatible, without any corruption, STKO can recognize them. I know some users have succcessfully imported such files from Rhino Cad models.
