Analyze

Post by l8523 » Sat Oct 21, 2023 2:44 am

Dear STKO team, I'm a beginner and have had some problems in the analysis and don't know how to fix it, I would appreciate it if you could tell me what went wrong or how it should be solved!

These are the errors I found and I tried to fix:
  • in the embed condition the masters should be the solids (concrete volume that "embeds" the rebars), while the slave should be the edges of the rebars
  • The first analysis needs a parallel numberer
  • Since you are doing a displacement control analysis, the horizontal load pattern must have a linear time series. Instead the path series is used in the analysis object to define the imposed control-displacement path
  • Increase the reference load: Now it is 1 N, but your expected force is of the order of kN. So if you use 1000 N (1 kN) as a reference load it will be easier for the displacement control to converge
  • In the monitor, scale the reaction force by 1/1000 (you are modeling in N, but your reference curve is in kN)
