Infill wall material is not running (error using beamwithhinges)

Dear STKO Team,

I hope you are doing great.

I'm using the infill material that you showed in your previous webinars. Despite I followed the steps, the terminal showed me the following message:

"element beamWithHinges 17 10 3 7 [expr 5656.85424949238*0.1] 19 [expr 5656.85424949238*0.05] 300.0 1386.4017265312752 167375.06803104692 0.001 [exp..."

I also run the model provided in your website, and actually it has the same error. Please, could you giveme guidance on this topic?

I also attached a simple model (one frame) using gravity analysis. I only use this for testing.

it looks like in the current version of OpenSees the beamWithHinges cannot be used anymore (it was used internally by the infill wall element).

It's not a problem, since the beamWithHinges is actually a force-beam-element with a special integration scheme. We just updated the Python file to use the new format.

Unzip this:

MasonryInfillWallElement.zip

and place it in C:\Program Files\STKO\external_solvers\opensees\element_properties\special_purpose, replacing the existing one. It will be available for all users in the next STKO version.
