Re: Beam extrusion
Ok, that is the file.
The *.mpco.cdata file is created at line 353, if you are using parallel processing (OpenSeesMP), or at line 359 if you are using only 1 process (OpenSees).
That function (cdata_io.write(doc.mesh)) will create the *.mpco.cdata file and write on it. If something goes wrong, you should see a red error message in the STKO's Terminal window.
Did you receive any errors while creating the Tcl files?
If you did not receive any error, it might be that either the mesh is None (but I don't think this is possible because STKO would have stopped before), or the system did not allow to create a file on that location.
Have you tried to save the file in a different location?

Re: Beam extrusion
If I save it in a different location it works, thank you very much!!
Re: Beam extrusion
Perfect. It means that somehow that location was protected from writing or something like that

If yes, you should see the MPCO.CDATA files that will allow you to see the section extrusion
Re: Beam extrusion
Yes, I use the pre processor to generate the Tcl files and still no MPCO.CDATA created.STKO Team wrote: ↑Wed May 10, 2023 10:46 amAre you using STKO pre processor to generate the Tcl files?Dear STKO team,

I even run the files from the webinars and the same happens.
Re: Beam extrusion
Probably you have some special character that is not recognized properly.
What is the name of your working folder? (i.e. the folder where you are generating Tcl files in)

Re: Beam extrusion
This is strange!
What do you mean by " the program does not run the same way"?
