Beam extrusion

Hello,

I have been doing youtube exercises from the STKO channel and always had the same problem in the post processor.
The section does not appear for me.
I have selected the beam extrusion command and still nothing.
I have STKO version 3.2.1 and was wondering if this could be an influence since a friend of mine with older version can see the extrusion.
Should I select some specific command on the analysis steps?

Did you use the STKO pre processor to generate the input Tcl files?
The STKO preprocessor also creates a *.mpco.cdata (if you use the MPCO recorder) that contains additional information such as section extrusion (i.e. those information that is not provided by OpenSees through the *.mpco file)

I noticed that I don't have any file with that name, not even in other exercises I did. Is that normal?

No, it's not possible.
Could you show a screenshot of the folder where you generate the tcl files?

May I ask you to share your SCD file?
if you use the MPCORecorder analysis step you should have that mpco.cdata file. unless you are creating the mpco recorder manually with a tcl custom command

I follow all the steps in the youtube videos, so I didn't generate the input Tcl files manually.
I have attached two examples of exercises I did and had no beam extrusion.

Do you think it could be some installation problem? Or a bug in the STKO version I have?

I do have the mpco.cdata file when I write the Tcl files or when I launch the analysis from STKO.
Could you please try again to click on "Write Input File" and see if you have that file?
If not I will need to send you a modified version of the python code that writes that file to figure out what's going on

This is the python file that generates the mpco cdata.
It's located in C:\Program Files\STKO\external_solvers\opensees\analysis_steps\Recorders\MPCORecorder.py

Could you verify that at the end of the file you have this?
