Pile-soil interaction

I simulate the contact between pile and soil.
However, when I show the contact. there is only one contact element at the center of beam length. as in the figure.
I ticked "distributed" option

It might be bcause I did not mesh the model. so this figure above represents the pile with 1 node in the middle of pile.

You need to mesh the pile and the soil around with the same mesh size
