DamageTC3D material selection

Dear Sir/Madam
STKO lists ASDEA's DamageTC3D material at two different places in the selection list (one through normal listing ASDEASoftware-->, another through plugin-->ASDEASoftware). I happened to see the instructor choosing the material through plugin option only. What is the difference between those two options? Which one should we have to use? Also, is it not necessary to define platefiber (wrapper) before assigning material to shell element? I hereby provide the time-stamp at which the selection is done in the tutorial video:

Dear kesavapraba,
The two instances of DamageTC3D are identical. You can use both and they will function in the same way. You find it duplicated only for internal compatibility issues of the software.
