Running error

Hello,

I installed STKO+OpenSees without problem. In fact I followed a tutorial successfully. The second time I opened STKO, I created my geometry without trouble. Nevertheless, when I tried to create a new physical property the programme froze. The window ‘Phisical Property Editor’ did not appear and I could not do anything more with the programme. The same has happened afterwards. Could you help me with this issue, please?

That is not a bug, it is a normal behavior.

Probably the first time you used STKO, you had 2 monitors connected to your PC. If this is the case, probably you moved the Physical Property Editor to the second monitor.
Then if later on you switch off the second monitor, and you use only 1 monitor, the Property Editor will open, but outiside the vibile bounds of the first monitor.

Why? becasue STKO re-opens the windows at the last known location.

We are now changing the code so that if the previous known location is not visible in the current monitor, it will open the window in the visible monitor.

In the meantime, you can fix this problem, either by using 2 monitors, or by removing a key from the registry.

If you want to do the second option follow these steps carefully:

• run "regedit", this will open the System Registry Editor
• select HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ASDEA Software Technology\STKO\MpcPropertyDialog
• right-click -> delete
