Post by gookki » Wed May 19, 2021 5:11 pm

I just use custom command tool to analysis tcl file.

I add recorder for mpco

Dear gokki,
I just checked your file in your folder called analysis_steps.tcl.
If you put a wipe command after the recorder mpco command you will not obtain any result. If you remove the second wipe, the mpco recorder will be created but will yield this error:
MPCORecorder FATAL Error: igp != elem_gauss_id[igp]

This error is there because there is a problem with the zeroLengthSection element and the mpco recorder, it is something we are going to take care of in the future.
But in the meantime, we saw that in your example you do not need to use the zeroLengthSection, as you are using elastic materials for the shear in two directions, which result in an uncoupled behaviour. You can just use a normal zeroLengthElement, paying particular attention to the orientation you apply to the two materials.

Let us know how it goes.
Enjoy your modeling =)
Francesca
