CUT SECTION SHEAR WALL

Dear STKO team
You provide me a TCL script for get the moment and shear in shear walls. But I want ask for the cut side section, because I want to know if I need consider the direction of the edge or the face. Please your help

In the other post I told you how the sign works here:
Pay attention to the "cut_sides". it should be +1 if the elements are on the +X direction of the cut, or -1 otherwise:

thanks, but in the image that you send me, it should be +1.0 in the two section, why you put minus ones??

no... In the top-section, the elements are in the -X local direction, thus the -1

I don't understand. How do you know that? I've review even the local axes but the bottom and top have the same direction.

Oh I see... there is a misunderstanding here.
What I mean if the element's centroid is in the positive X direction (of the section-cut's local axes) -> use 1
otherwise, use -1
