Dear Team,
Is there any option of calculating hysteretic energy dissipation in post-processing?

Energy dissipation by strcture
Re: Energy dissipation by strcture
In the new STKO version 2.0.0 (that will be released soon in January) you will have a Python scripting environment that will allow you to extract data from the Output DataBase, and post-process it. For example, you can extract the stress-strain curve for material and numerically compute the bounded area.
Currently, you can also record energy directly from OpenSees. However, only a few material models provide that output. For example Concrete01 for concrete and HystereticMaterial or Steel01/02 for steel.
Then the cross-section will integrate it numerically.
