Re: Issue in Merge

If the geometry does not have any construction error it should merge without problems, please attach your *.SCD file (zipped) here. I will have a look and let you know

Re: Import of tcl

You can either do your model in STKO, then write the tcl file from STKO, and then you can modify them before running the analysis.
Otherwise, if you already have hand-written TCL files, you can add manually the "mpco" recorder command and see the results in STKO post processor

It looks like you correctly activated your license in our database the 27th of February. For some reason it didn't work on your PC. Try now

Re: Issue in convergence

2. Is this okay to use the displacement and load interchangeably as in the considered case the experimental test was displacement control while I clicked the option of load-control in Static analysis window? As long as the load/imposed-displacement is applied only on 1 node, it is perfectly the sam...

Re: Import of tcl

Dear Poterium, I am asking because it would be very helpfull to create the model (geometry, restraints, constraints etc) in STKO and then to extract the tcl file and to make additions which are much more easy typing Of course you can do this, make your model, then instead of using the "Run Analysis"...

Re: Region

Hi Guillermo, It depends on what you want to do, there are 2 options. In both cases however, you cannot restrict the results to only 1 section, but at most to 1 element only: You record results only on a region. In this case, in the pre processor you need to create a selection set that contains only...

Modal Analysis + Mass Partiticipation Factors

Dear Users, We are currently working in implementing modal analysis and response spectrum analysis in STKO, since there is not such a feature in OpenSEES. In the meantime here you can find a TCL procedure that peforms a modal analysis and prints results to both the terminal and a textfile. Some note...

Re: Import of tcl

Dear user, We do not support importing an existing TCL file. And we are not going to implement it at the moment because it will take too much effort, and even if we do it, what you would import is an already-discretized mesh, while STKO works with CAD Geometries (curves, surfaces, solids). The main ...

Re: Problem with Fiber sections in analysis

Moreover I noticed that you are running opensees manually from the command line. It is fine, but it will be easier for you if you run it from STKO.

You can add new opensees version in the analysis step Kits. If you don't know how to do this, please repy to this post and I will explain.
