Re: How to apply masses in a N-mm-s unit system - STKO

What about the load pattern named "massToLoad"? Maybe it's not a command but it does exist. How it works?

Re: How to apply masses in a N-mm-s unit system - STKO

How it works the masstoLoad command in the analysis step?

Does exit any difference between use face masses and face loads in a TH analysis, considering the modal analysis step before the dynamic analysis?

time of maximum principal stress by a nonlinear time history analysis

Dear community,

I performed a time history analysis of a masonry building with the ASDConcrete3D material to capture the nonlinear response. Now I am exporting the results for further processing, but I have a question about how to configure the menu to extract the maximum principal stresses of a ...

How to apply masses in a N-mm-s unit system - STKO

Dear community,

I hope you are all doing well. I would like to ask about the correct way to apply masses to a structural plate system in STKO.
On one hand, I can input a RHO value within the material properties, but I have doubts regarding the units I should consider for this RHO. On the other hand ...

Re: High period values in modal analysis

Could you provide me with any suggestions or a more specific approach to address this problem? I have already reviewed the documentation and webinars beforehand. In none of the videos have I seen this type of modeling based on 3D walls and slabs with shells, only frame-type structures and 3D slabs ...

Re: High period values in modal analysis

I fixed the issue, thank you for your help. Unfortunately, I am still encountering modeling errors that I cannot find a way to solve, and I have the following questions:

1. Should merge be applied to the entire structure, or can the analysis be run with only some merged planes of the structure?

2 ...

High period values in modal analysis

Hello STKO team,

I need help with a 3D model. The case study is a two-story structure made of reinforced concrete block masonry. This is just a test to learn about modal analysis. The problem is that I have not been able to obtain periods shorter than 1 second, considering that this type of ...

Re: Error message while creating input files

Hi STKO team,
I fixed the geometry problem and the problem with the top and bottom faces using a elastic membrane section in shell elements, but now apparently the problem is something else.
