Hi,
Thank you, this helps me a lot! I was already wondering if this might be the problem.
Kind regards,
Mats

Can't visualize stresses in beam elements
Dear STKO Forum,
I have run a linear analysis of a steel lattice girder but I have some problems with the visualization of the stresses in the beam elements. I assigned them with an elastic section and a Lobatto integration scheme. The elements are force-beam elements.
I tried to record almost ...

ZerolengthContactASDimplex: Wrong family type
Dear STKO Forum,
I wanted to make a contactelement between the fill and the spandrel/arch for my bridge model. For a first try, I have implemented the ZerolengthContactASDimplex element and gave the solid arch elements as the master and the surface of the fill the slave. The solid elements are four ...

Re: Error: Could not create nDMaterial ASDConcrete3D
Hi,
I just tried uninstalling the previous and installing the one you said but I keep on getting version 3.4.0. when I run an STKO analysis
Are there any other things I can try?
Kind regards,
Mats

Re: Error: Could not create nDMaterial ASDConcrete3D
Dear Prabakaran Kesavan,
Thank you fro your help.
Version 3.6.0. from the OpenSees website doesn't include the solvers. Where can I find them? The link to the compiled version only includes the 3.4.0. solvers.
Kind regards,
Mats

Dear STKO Team,
This was indeed the problem, it is fine now!
Thank you a lot to help me solve this problem.
Kind regards,
Mats

Error: Could not create nDMaterial ASDConcrete3D
Dear all,
I have a problem when I want to run my model with ASDConcrete3D physical property. I get an error that the nDMaterial cannot be created (see figure). It is possible to run the model with an elastic isotropic nD material, so I think it is not a problem of the geometry. I also tried running ...

Re: Beam to Solid coupling hinge
Dear STKO Team,
I have merged the model and also checked if all the elements have element/physical properties and conditions. I ran a model with only the steel truss and the analysis is fine. I also ran a model with only the solid masonry elements, which is also okay. Only the full model still does ...

Re: Beam to Solid coupling hinge
Dear STKO Team,
I tried your recommendations but I still do something wrong since the analysis does not converge in the beginning. I think it might have something to do that I am connecting a line with a solid. I tried to implement the same line in the solid because before it was giving me warnings ...
