Dear STKO community,
I would like to model an RC beam–column joint using a macro-model composed of a central joint shear panel, zero-length bar-slip springs, and zero-length interface shear springs, as schematically shown in the attached figure.
The beam and columns will be modeled using nonlinear ...

Re: Modeling with ASDEmbeddedNodeElement
Thanks for your help,
I assigned the local axes to be the z direction in 3D, as you said.
But I couldn't understand why the connection between the infill wall and the concrete did not match. (like in the figure)
I saw in previous studies on the forum that no condition was assigned between the ...

Hi STKO team,
I solve convergance problem
but now I don't know how to visualize the masonry wall or cracking pattern.
and also I have problem like in the figure,

Re: Modeling with ASDEmbeddedNodeElement
I want to thank you for your contributions to modeling sir.
Now,
I am trying to modeling infill wall, But I am encountering a convergence error.
Regarding my problem , I used DamageTC3D for masonry and I tried to change the DamageTC3D prameters in the analysis but still not able to solve the issue ...

Re: Modeling with ASDEmbeddedNodeElement
It seems that the e11 the strain of the concrete is quite high.
I dont understand also why initial stiffness values are high.
I tried to adjust the initial stiffness values by changing the material and energy parameters, but I was not successful.
