Hi,
Can you please help me to write the code to get base shear force for my case?
I attached the .mpco file in the attachment.
Thank you so much,
Buu

ASD absorb Boundary condition
Hi STKO team,
I noticed that you were updating the ASD Absorbing boundary condition. I am curious that:
For PDMY material,
1/ G values change during running, depending on the strain level (nonlinearity effect). Have the new ASD absorbed BC included the variation of G values during running?
2/ G ...

Re: opensees sp vs opensees mp
Hi STKO team,
I am doing parametric study, and running many 2D numerical cases. I tried to run more than 10 cases simultaneously using Opensees, but the CPU usage is around 15%. Is there any method to employ fully the CPU capacity for running many cases simultaneously?
Thank you for your support ...

Non convergence problem due to large structural load
Hi STKO,
I am running a soil-pile interaction model. which is similar to your webinar 25. After applying self-weight load of soil, I apply structural load. However, there is a non-convergence issue during structural load application. I tried to reduced structural load by multiplying 0.1 --> It run ...

Node can not be found due to partition
Hi STKO support,
I am modeling dynamic problem with tied boundary condition (nodes with same elevation share the same DOF).
However, I am using partition to run parallel, which results in an error of non-finding node.
For example, in the attached files, if I partition into 2 parts --> it run well ...

How to create a local axis with an angle
Hi STKO,
I am simulating a soil-pile interaction using py, tz, qz model. However, the piles are inclined with an angle of 20 deg with respect to vertical direction. Do you know how to create a local axis with an angle of 20 deg with respect to vertical direction? I can make a local axis with an ...
