Re: Problem with quad meshing

Dear user, To obtain structured mesh (quad) you need to have the surfaces closed by 4 edges and if you check your model you have some surfaces closed by more than 4 edges. Remember that for structured meshes, you always have to be sure to have the surfaces closed by 4 edges. Regarding the mesh impor...

Re: SPSW modeling using oppensees

It seems you have problem of convergence and your model is softer. Check convergence and the stiffness of the model, without additional details we can't help you more. Could you send us the stko file?
Thank you

Re: Interaction between concrete and rebar

Dear Telec, thank you for your question, we have been working a lot with solid models and bar slip. You can either use BeamSolidCoupling (full composite action) or BeamToSolidBarSlip (if you want to model slip). Please see the manual at page 98 and 99:

Re: Infill-RC Frame Interaction Code

Dear ankurjain1992, STKO is not connected to any code, we just showed an example of what you can do. The program is completely open-box so you can implement whatever you need and create your automatisms with python. Plus OpenSees is Opensource so you can add/modify your own version of the code, if y...

Re: Extract Chart Data Results.

Dear user,
we dealt with this topic in several webinars and in the manual.
Please look at the extract chart section of the manual, then go the post processor. It is possible to do several operations with the data, average, sum, max, min etc.
Best regards

Re: Micro-modelling of masonry wall

Dear User, there are several techniques available to model masonry structures in 2d and 3d. There are several papers published in literature on this topic. If we focus on continuum models and interface models you mainly have 4 options: 1) Continuum macro models in which the mortar and the bricks are...
