Hi~
I assign the truss element to one brace, while the all beams and columns are assigned forceBeamColumn element with special_purpose BeamSecionProperty of fiber. When I run the analysis, there comes the error shown as the attached photo. Is there anything wrong? How to make it?
Thank you a lot.

Re: how to see the vibration mode
What do the options mean as shown in the picture attached?
When I set the grid size 10, and if I want 10 meters long beam, I need to input 100. (Why is it?)
So if I use these units mass(kg), and time(s), what is the unit of force?

Re: rigid floor
When I set the mass center(master-node) of the rigid floor at the existed node of the model, the analysis result is shown as photo 1, which is correct. But when I set the mass center(master-node) at the new added hanging node out of the model, it produces photo 2, where there are incorrect results a...

Re: rigid floor
When I locate the the mass center, I find that it is out of the model.
So I create a new hanging master-node, and fix it in the Uz-Rx-Ry DOFs, then do I need to merge it with the existed merged model?

Oh, I see.
Can opensees or STKO get the [M] matrix and [K] matrix of the built model? How to do it?

opensees runs the STKO code
After STKO produces the 7 .tcl files, I try to run the main.tcl file in the opensees window, but it can't run.
How to run the 7 files correctly in opensees?
Please!

Re: rigid floor
I find that when the master-node is out of the model it can't run correctly, but when the master-node is one node of the model, it run well.

Re: rigid floor
Yeah, you get my words. Thank you.
And after creating a new hanging master-node, and fixing it in the Uz-Rx-Ry DOFs, do I need to merge it with the existed merged model?
