Re: Analysis error
You have asterisk (*) character on your result file name. Windows does not support that so OpenSees fails to create the result file.

Re: Exception of mpiexec.hydra While Using Parallel
@spater; Actually I couldn't solve it. I made a clean install of Windows. After that I installed STKO and solver pack of Prof. Tarque. That is enough to run parallel analyses. Anything else than Prof. Tarque's pack (like Intel's MPI package etc..) can cause problems which I couldn't find a way to so...

Problem with New Contact Element
Hi everyone! I hope you people are having a nice break there. I wanted to use zeroLengthImplexContact element for a 2D model. But STKO gives an error saying that I am mixing 2D and 3D models. I am pretty sure there is not any problem with my model because if I use old zeroLengthContact element, ther...

Re: High Displacements with Plastic Material Stage
Update: I talked with Prof. Pedro Arduino this weekend and he suggested this method If you want to get rid of this lateral displacement accumulation. You can create a thicker (10~100 times thicker) region at the end of the boundary, just before the free field columns(Also the free field columns). I ...

Re: Using Multiple Computers
I see. Do you have any suggestions for analyzing large SSI models like with 200-300k elements? While monitoring my system resources, I realized that computer RAM (16GB) is used almost full. Maybe adding more ram may increase the speed?

Using Multiple Computers
Hi STKO Team;
Is it possible to solve models using multiple computers using Prof. Tarque's pack?
Thanks.

Re: Hexa Meshing Issue
Solved it, sorry to bother you. There were some overlapping lines in my dwg file which I imported my model from. This was the culprit.
