Re: High Displacements with Plastic Material Stage

Update: I talked with Prof. Pedro Arduino this weekend and he suggested this method If you want to get rid of this lateral displacement accumulation. You can create a thicker (10~100 times thicker) region at the end of the boundary, just before the free field columns(Also the free field columns). I ...

Re: Using Multiple Computers

I see. Do you have any suggestions for analyzing large SSI models like with 200-300k elements? While monitoring my system resources, I realized that computer RAM (16GB) is used almost full. Maybe adding more ram may increase the speed?

Hexa Meshing Issue

Hi STKO Team; I am trying to build a soil domain and wanted to start some meshing tests before advancing in the model. I want to use a structured, hexa meshing. Although my domain has a very regular geometry STKO meshes it with with Tetra elements. In your webinar you easily created a hexa mesh, but...

Re: Slow Database Loading

Do you mean that on an SSD you cannot reproduce the issue? Yes. Probably your HDD is almost full? that would make sense. No sir there is nearly a 150GB empty space. This is the weirdest problem in my computer history :) HDD usage goes up to %99 if I want to load an "old" database. Looks like I am t...

Re: 'NoneType' Object

Yes I mean objects. But interactions may need element property too. For example if you use a zero length interaction you have to assign a zero length element to it.
