Re: Beam to Solid coupling hinge

Check your model: All your solid elements are separated. You should merge them.

Re: Not getting results in the elements

Your zip is empty.
Anyway I think you are using reduced-integration elements. If this is the case, in the recorder choose strain and stress instead of material.strain and material.stress (you can do it in the custom element results)

Re: Beam to Solid coupling hinge

In this case you can:
  • create an interaction
  • assign a zeroLength instead of a kinematic constraint
  • assign stiff material only to the DOFs that should transfer loads/couples

Re: ERROR IN DamageTC3D test

Please show the whole message you see in the terminal. Including any message from OpenSees.
What you see there is just an error coming from the fact that OpenSees failed in the analysis of the Tester

Re: invalid type of element - model can't run

The error is clear: You're using an Element Property that requires a 4-node quad mesh, but you assigned it to another mesh type.

If you right-click on the Element Property and click Select, you will see that you assigned it to the edges (2-node elements) instead of the face!

Re: load problem

If you mean how to add a couple, condition->load->nodeCouple.
Otherwise be more specific
